On October 7, 2008, STOP CANCER will honor the six selected recipients of our
2008 Research Career Development Awards and Seed Grant Awards, representing
the UCLA/Jonsson, USC/Norris and City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer
Centers. This is a "not to be missed" experience and it's
what STOP CANCER is all about!
The evening provides a wonderful opportunity for our members and
guests to meet the new and past Awardees and to hear from some
of the best and brightest cancer researchers.
It is a unique facet of STOP CANCER that our members know exactly
where their donations go— to these brilliant young doctors
dedicated to helping find a cure or prevention of cancer.

 In celebration of STOP CANCER's 20th Anniversary in 2008, our Annual Awards Dinner on October 7 at the Four Seasons Hotel will present three Special Research Advancement Awards in memory of Dr. Armand Hammer, STOP CANCER Founder.
