Following the Peer Review of each nominee for a STOP CANCER Research Career Development Award, each member of the STOP CANCER Research Awards Committee receives the files of the recommended nominees, including their respective curriculum vitae, their accomplishments and papers as well as a letter of commendation from their immediate superior.

The Committee then meets and discusses the merits and qualifications of the candidates. The Committee sends its final report and recommendations to the STOP CANCER Executive Director to forward to the Board of Directors for approval.

Elected Awardees are presented to the STOP CANCER membership at the Annual Awards Dinner in November of each year.
